OUR STORY
Built from experience. Powered by community.
Before Two Chimeg became a nonprofit, we were collecting used canes and wheelchairs and sending them to people with disabilities in Mongolia. That was our way of giving back to those who needed it most.
Then in September 2022, after finding our footing in the U.S. job market, we asked ourselves a question: how many people in our community are talented, hardworking, and determined, but trying to navigate a system that wasn’t built for them — often completely alone?
That question became the MGL Job Search Roundtable.
What started as a simple monthly Zoom gathering has grown into a community where Mongolian immigrants can ask questions, share experiences, learn from one another, and find support while navigating the U.S. job market.
In 2024, we established Two Chimeg as an official nonprofit so we could serve our community with greater structure and permanence.
Two Chimeg exists to make sure others in our community don’t have to face these challenges alone. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, entirely volunteer-run. Every dollar donated and every hour volunteered helps us provide free programs and resources to the community we serve.
